Let There Be Performance

I was invited by the artist-run space in Malmö (Celsius Projects) to give a performance in their space. 

Let There Be Performance is an interactive performance in which the audience’s words inspire and create a drawn world. A word is a mental image, a symbol, a sound, an interaction, and a performance.

I invited the audience to reimagine, participate in the creation process, and celebrate creation as a collective practice. They used charcoal to write words of their choice on plaster tablets. During the performance, I had the agency to interpret these words into worlds.

The performance took place on the 17th of December 2022 for a duration of two hours.
